Holyhead Town Council took over ownership of Y Parc known then as The Big Park back in 2017 when Isle of Anglesey County Council intended to close the facility due to lack of funding available at the time.

Holyhead Town Council were chosen as the preferred candidate to take the freehold of the Y Parc due to the Town Councils success as running and managing of other commercial ventures namely the Empire Complex.

Since 2017 the Town Council has been committed in its approach to regenerate Y Parc into a go-to destination for all generation. The Town Council has invested a substantial amount of time a funds into Y Parc and with the help of grant funding Y Parc has become a huge asset for the Town and its facilities are enjoyed all year round by locals and visitors alike.

The Town Council is still as committed to improving what is already a wonderful facility and future plans are very exciting to say the least.
